PROFESSIONAL NEGLIGENCE

Each of us has a duty not to cause harm. One’s conduct is measured against the conduct of the reasonable man. If such conduct is unreasonable when compared  to that of the “reasonable man” then the damage caused may be actionable.

 

Professionals have a higher duty of care by virtue of their expertise in a given field or fields.

If their conduct falls outside the parameters of what is considered reasonable and you suffer damages as a result, then such damages may be actionable.
